Draft. This describes accurately how Verio works today, but it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer or checked against Swedish data-protection requirements. The controller details and retention periods below are placeholders.
Terms of service
Draft — not yet reviewed
Short version: an account is free, your profile is yours, we are early and things will change, and you can leave whenever you like and take your data with you.
What Verio is right now
Verio is in development. Today an account gets you a profile and nothing more — the simulation, the score and the employer side do not exist yet, and no date is promised. We would rather say that plainly than imply otherwise.
Your account
You need a working email address. Keep access to it, because a sign-in link sent to that address is how you get into your account. One account per person. You must be 16 or older to create one.
What you put in
Your profile content stays yours. By adding it you let us store and display it back to you, and — only if you later explicitly choose to share it — to the specific people you choose. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, and do not put anyone else's personal data in your profile.
What we will not do
- We will not sell your data.
- We will not show your profile to an employer without you choosing that, recipient by recipient.
- We will not invent a measurement. If we have not measured something, it is shown as not measured — never as a zero and never as a guess.
Leaving
Email us and we will delete your account and everything attached to it. We may suspend an account that is being used to abuse the service or another person, and we will say why.
The boring part
The service is provided as it is, without warranties, and our liability is limited to the extent the law allows. These terms are governed by Swedish law. Full liability, warranty and dispute wording is [to be drafted as part of the legal review].
Changes
We will update these terms as Verio grows. If a change materially affects you — particularly anything about recording or sharing — we will tell you before it takes effect, not after.
Questions about any of this go to privacy@verio.example. We answer data requests within 30 days.
